K-pop star band Blackpink on Saturday performed at Al Ittihad Arena Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi as part of their Born Pink Tour. The icons also celebrated their bandmate Rose’s birthday a little early with the fans.
The band has set the stage on fire as they performed their global blockbusters including Savage Love, Lovesick Girls, Playing with Fire, Pink Venom, Shut Down and more. Fans have waited for hours for the show to commence and once the girl group started their performance, Abu Dhabi was full of screams and cheers!
The fans showed up with trademark Blackpink light sticks Bi ping-bong and many of them appeared to be wearing the band’s merch too. Fan screams reached a whole new level and shook the arena, once Blackpink made their entry from a burst of fireworks! Lisa delivered a fabulous performance of her solo hit Lalisa to which the blinks cheered their hearts out.
Rose’s birthday comes early
The band celebrated their co-member Rose’s birthday a little early with the fans as her actual birthday is just two weeks away(February 11). Rose cut a cake that’s decorated with ‘roses’ while the fans cheered and sang her a birthday song! The night in short was every blink’s dream ever!
Blackpink’s Born Pink World Tour kickstarted on January 7 in Bangkok. The band later flew to Hong Kong and performed there for two days after which they’ve reached Riyadh on 20th, lastly Abu Dhabi on 28th after attending the Paris Fashion Week! Their next stop is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where they’re going to perform on March 4. They are later supposed to play at Jakarta, Manila and more! The final stop would be Singapore which would be on May 13. The girl group toured the Europe last year.
