Tennis legend, Roger Federer has met the K-pop girl group Blackpink at the Paris Fashion Week, that he recently attended.
Federer took to Instagram to share the picture of him posing with all the members of K-pop group, captioning “My kids said this was a definite IG post.”
The fans are going crazy over the pic as nobody saw this coming. A fan asked, “Are you a blink” to which Federer replied with a blink emoji! Tennis star Coco Gauff too commented, “blink????”
The 20 time grand slam champion, Roger Federer announced his retirement from the sport in September last year.
Djokovic talks about Federer’s appearance at the Paris Fashion Week
In his post-match on court interview, tennis star Novak Djokovic paid tribute to the Swiss legend and also commented on his appearance at the Fashion Week.
“Let’s give a big round of applause to Roger guys. He deserves it. I had some great battles over the years with Roger that’s for sure, tennis misses him for sure. I saw him dressing up very sharply for fashion week the other day. I’ve seen him skiing, I wanna challenge him for a little skiing race in a few years’ time. But he’s enjoying life for sure and it’s nice to see that. For tennis, he’s been one of the most important players ever to play the game. Big regards to him and his family” said the 21 time grand slam champion who is going to compete against Tsitsipas in the finals at the Melbourne Park on Sunday.
