Recording Academy Names ‘All Too Well’ as Taylor Swift’s Magnum Opus

The Recording Academy on Friday released a list of 13 songs that defines Swift’s lyricism and named “All Too Well(10 Minute Version)” as her greatest work till date.

The Academy wrote, “Swift’s ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version)’ might very well be her magnum opus. Although the original beloved song from Red was never released as a single, it emerged as a fan favorite for its tragic retelling of visceral heartbreak. And once Swift released a new — and much longer — 10-minute edition of the gut-wrenching track on Red (Taylor’s Version) nearly a decade later, it almost instantly became the fan favorite.”

The global Icon’s song was released as a vault song from her second re-recording, Red(Taylor’s Version). The song met with both critical acclaim and commercial success. It bagged Ms Swift a Guinness World Record by becoming the longest song ever to hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100, surpassing Don McLean’s ‘American Pie’.

The Academy further mentioned about the short film, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. “ Its cinematic music video ‘All Too Well: The Short Film‘ continued to stretch the Swift multiverse. With lucid lyricism, cathartic storytelling, and riveting melodies.” Further summed up by saying, “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) triumphs as the pinnacle example of everything that makes Swift a revered songwriter and certified star — one who continues to shine like an ever-lovely jewel.”

Swift drops music video for Lavender Haze

Earlier today, Taylor swift dropped the music video for the song ‘Lavender Haze’ . The self-directed video is now trending worldwide on YouTube. The fans are thoroughly enjoying the stunning visuals and looks that Ms Swift has served. The video featured American model, activist and actor Laith Ashley as Taylor’s love interest.

The Artist of the Decade is set to embark on her first tour in five years(The Eras Tour), this March.
