The first official promotional pictures for The Flash season 9 premiere have been made available by The CW. The CW’s longest-running Arrowverse show is about to expire. Grant Gustin is making a comeback as the fastest man alive for one more season after playing Barry Allen for almost ten years. Season 9 of The Flash, which was approved in 2022, was revealed to be the final one that autumn after receiving a 13-episode order.

The Flash will have broadcast a total of 184 episodes by the time it wraps off its run, making it one of The CW’s most popular shows. The last season also features Candice Patton (Iris West-Allen) and Danielle Panabaker from the original cast.

The CW has finally unveiled the promotional photos for the first episode of The Flash season 9. The first episode of the new season, titled “Wednesday Ever After,” was directed by Vanessa Parise, with a screenplay written by Thomas Pound and Sarah Tarkoff and a narrative by Eric Wallace. On Wednesday, February 8, the programme will air at its normal 8 PM time slot. In the images, Team Flash is seen entering and leaving STAR Labs.

Barry will go overboard in the ninth season opener of The Flash as he makes plans for his future with Iris. The official episode summary states that Barry makes a map book to use as a guide, especially to protect Iris. However, they start repeatedly experiencing the same day, which creates a kind of time loop effect. The last season’s debut will essentially be a Groundhog Day-themed episode. In this episode, the squad will also meet the new major threat, most likely Red Death. Joe West will also talk to Cecile, probably about Jesse L. Martin’s exit from the show as a series regular.
