American actress and a mother of three, Blake Lively is all set to star alongside Justin Baldoni in the film adaption of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book ‘It Ends With us’.
The Colleen Hoover’s masterpiece is the best-selling print book of 2022 worldwide. It has spent a whopping 90 weeks on the New York Times’ bestseller list. Wayfarer Studios has been working with Baldoni for quite some time now, to make the movie adaption possible.
The 2016 publication’s synopsis says, “[It] follows a girl named Lily who has just moved and is ready to start her life after college. Lily then meets a guy named Ryle and she falls for him. As she is developing feelings for Ryle, Atlas, her first love, reappears and challenges the relationship between Lily and Ryle.”
Blake will also be executive producing the film alongside Baldoni, Hoover, Steve Sarowitz and Andrew Calof. Alex Saks will be producing for Saks Pictures under Wayfarer’s banner.
The male lead, Justin Baldoni is famous for playing the role ‘Rafael Solano’ in ‘Jane the Virgin’. The actor also directed and produced few films in the past that include ‘Clouds’ and ‘Five Feet Apart’. Justin is also a New York Times bestseller himself.

Furthermore, Blake Lively is returning as Emily for the sequel of ‘A Simple Favor’. She’ll be re-joining hands with director Paul Feig and actress Anna Kendrick. The Met Gala icon is also set to take director’s chair for the movie adaption of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s novel ‘Seconds’ after her directorial debut with her close friend and pop sensation, Taylor Swift’s music video ‘I Bet You Think About Me’.
