Swedish singer Zara Larsson is all set to release her next single titled ‘Can’t Tame Her’ this Friday, January 27. This will mark the singer’s first new release since her cover of ‘Lay All Your Love Over Me’ by ABBA last May. Larsson earlier shared a link to pre save her new song across all her socials.
The song comes out during a crucial phase of singer’s life as she is currently working on acquisition of her back catalogue. She also had launched her own record label, Sommer House not so long ago.
All we know about Larsson’s next album
Larsson recently hinted that her new album is almost ready when she did a Q+A with her fans on Twitter last December. She also responded to a fan about the sound of her new album. She revealed, ” It’s not sonically a concept album. Never been that girl. It’s heart-breaking ballads with one track vocals and only a piano, it’s club bangers, it’s hard hitting danja drums, it’s everything I love. High and low and all of that. The red thread is my voice and the quality. “
The Swedish Got Talent winner also talked about her experience working on the new album earlier in 2022. “The fact that I’m in the studio with them [her collaborators] working with them long term, it’s something that I’ve appreciated a lot, I’ve been really lucky to be in the studio with great writers, but it’s been kind of like speed dating a little bit. Working with just Nowels, for the most part, gave the sessions a new feeling. It’s like ‘it’s you and me’; like ‘you’re looking into my eyes, and we’re writing this song’, which is great. I feel like it’s authentic and brings out something else”
She also added, “The drums are a little harder, the vocals are vocalling a little bit more. I would just say I’ve been taking it up a notch, which is hopefully what I would like to do for every album, just step it up; but this one is really fucking good.”
