Warner Bros. TNT will not air the fourth season of the post-apocalyptic series Snowpiercer. The dystopian thriller’s fourth season will be its last, according to earlier reports. After Discovery and WarnerMedia, the parent company of TNT, merged, the decision to terminate the series was made. Fans were shocked to learn that the drama had been cancelled, especially given the conclusion of the third season and the popularity of the first three seasons, which earned favourable reviews from reviewers.

According to Deadline, TNT’s decision not to air the final season is a result of the tax deductions for the WBD programming. Deadline claims that Tomorrow Studios is negotiating to purchase the fourth season as well as potential prequels and sequels. The decision to not air Snowpiercer season four was difficult, a TNT representative said in an interview. The representative also said that TNT has been working with producers to find a good home for the series, one where fans can continue to enjoy what they loved about the show.
