Actor Joining Loki Season 2 Recalls Tom Hiddleston’s Fanboy Moment

Ke Huy Quan Variety Facetime

Star of Everything Everywhere All At Once Ke Huy Quan talks about an emotional experience with Tom Hiddleston on the Loki season 2 set. When Loki debuted in 2021 on Disney Plus, it quickly established itself as one of the most intriguing shows of the year. A version of Kang the Conqueror known as He Who Remains, the new primary antagonist of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, confronted Loki on the Marvel program shortly after Hiddleston’s final appearance as Loki in Avengers: Endgame. Season 2 of Loki has cast Quan in an unnamed role.

Quan revealed a touching tale about how Hiddleston fangirled over him while filming Loki season 2 during a visit on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz. The complete interview and quotation are provided below:

There was one particular day of shooting, and he found something on set, and he said… he saw it and he said, “Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I’m working with Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.” And he was so cute, and so kind, and I was so excited, and I said, “Oh my god, did anybody get that on tape? Please tell me somebody got that on tape!” He was incredible. We laughed so hard and… I didn’t want that shoot to end. So hopefully we will go back for some more… reshoots. I don’t know when, but I can’t wait to see all of them again.

After Huan made his acting comeback in the smash blockbuster Everything Everywhere All at Once after a 20-year sabbatical, audiences are enthusiastic about the idea of Short Round appearing in Indiana Jones 5. There is currently no information on Huan resuming his Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny role with Harrison Ford.

A Breakdown of Loki Season 2

The main Multiverse Saga and the appearance of Kang the Conqueror were to gain their official starts with Loki, the MCU project that had the honor of doing so. Loki and Sylvie, a female version of Hiddleston’s character, explored the Citadel at the End of Time in quest of solutions in the Loki season 1 finale. When Sylvie kills He That Remains, a Kang version who appeared in their mission, it suggests that a new multiversal conflict among his variants is about to break out.

Hiddleston’s character in Loki season 2 will be in a challenging predicament as he learned during the season 1 finale that things have altered back at the Time Variance Authority as a result of He Who Remains’ passing. The Time-Keepers monument has been replaced, as revealed by Thor’s brother in the Loki season one finale. Beyond the hints in the conclusion, there isn’t much information available regarding Loki season 2’s plot, although Marvel has announced a few new cast members, including Quan as an archivist for the Time Variance Authority and Rafael Casal and Kate Dickie in unspecified roles.

While much of Loki season 2’s narrative remains a mystery, some production-set photographs have emerged, hinting that Sylvie will have worked as a McDonald’s employee in the past while presumably attempting to avoid the TVA. Michael Waldron, the chief writer of Loki season 1, left the program and is now hard at work on Avengers: Secret Wars, which is expected to be the MCU’s Multiverse Saga’s epic climax. Most recently, Waldron wrote Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In charge of authoring the eagerly anticipated Loki season 2 is Eric Martin.
