In a recent The Flash season 9 set shot taken while they were filming episode 9, Stephen Amell is seen celebrating his enormous Arrowverse comeback. The CW is not holding back regarding The Flash season 9, which will formally conclude the well-liked Arrowverse program. Before The Flash ends later in 2023, Grant Gustin will officially wear the Scarlet Speedster for 13 additional episodes. Since Superman & Lois is set on a different Earth, The Flash’s final season also serves as the last Earth-Prime-based series in the Arrowverse universe. On Wednesday, February 8, at its usual 8 PM EST appointment, the DC TV series will embark on its last adventure.
Episode 9 of The Flash season 9 will include a significant Arrowverse reunion with Stephen Amell’s return as Green Arrow. Kid Flash, John Diggle, and Bloodwork will all appear in the episode, which is helmed by Caitlin Snow herself, Danielle Panabaker. Although episode 9 of The Flash won’t broadcast until later in 2023, Amell recently marked his return to the Arrowverse with a brand-new set photograph. Amell uploaded a photo of his cast chair while expressing his joy at coming back, which was taken outside of Iris West-office Allen’s on the set of The Central City Citizen. Possible ways that Amell’s Oliver could come back for Flash season 9
The most pressing issue at the moment is how Amell will be able to appear in The Flash season 9, as fantastic as that is. Oliver died in 2020 after giving his life twice as the Spectre during Crisis on Infinite Earths. Oliver may have died away, but the Arrowverse has already planned for his reappearance in The Flash season 9 in 2022. In the sixth and last issue of the official Earth-Prime Arrowverse tie-in comic, Oliver made a comeback as the Spectre.
Oliver is undoubtedly capable of leaving the Afterlife due to the immense extent of the Spectre’s abilities. Eric Wallace, the creator of The Flash, is somewhat present because he said that Oliver and Barry will “save the world together again.” Oliver will most certainly reappear as the Spectre for whatever threat Barry faces before ultimately returning to the Afterlife. Given the grand send-off Oliver had, it seems doubtful that The Flash season 9 would reverse the enormous, meaningful climax that Arrow season 8 had.
