1. Indiana Jones 5, June 30, 2023
In the fifth entry of the Indiana Jones film series, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Harrison Ford plays archaeologist Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is an upcoming American action adventure movie (2008). James Mangold, who penned the script with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, is in charge of directing the picture. It is the first movie in the series whose story wasn’t written by George Lucas or directed by Steven Spielberg.
2. Creed III, March 3, 2023
A new American sports drama film called Creed III will be directed by Michael B. Jordan in his feature directorial debut. Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin wrote the screenplay from a story that they co-wrote with Ryan Coogler. The ninth entry in the Rocky franchise and the follow-up to Creed II (2018) Michael Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad. Sylvester Stallone no longer plays Rocky Balboa in this movie, however he continues to produce under the Balboa Productions label.
3. Dune: Part II, November 3, 2023
Dune: Part Two, which is based on roughly the second half of Herbert’s science fiction novel, follows up where the original Dune movie left off. The Dune: Part Two official synopsis claims that “will examine Paul Atreides’ mythological odyssey as he joins Chani and the Fremen and embarks on a warpath of vengeance against the criminals who killed his family. He tries to stop a horrific destiny that only he can see by choosing between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe.”
4. The Super Mario Bros. Movie, April 7, 2023
The Super Mario Bros. Movie, an upcoming computer-animated fantasy adventure comedy film co-produced by Illumination and Universal Pictures, is based on the Mario video game franchise. It will be released in 2019. After the American live-action film Super Mario Bros. and the Japanese anime film Super Mario Bros.: The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach! (1986), this is the third movie to be based on the franchise.
5. Barbie, July 21, 2023
Barbie is an upcoming romantic comedy film that Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach wrote and directed. The movie, which is based on Ruth Handler’s Barbie fashion dolls, is the first live-action Barbie movie after a number of computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television productions. Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie play Barbie and Ken in the movie.
6. Killers of the Flower Moon, May, 2023
The best-selling 2017 nonfiction book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann is the inspiration for the upcoming American Western crime drama film Killers of the Flower Moon, which will be directed by Martin Scorsese and feature a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese. The book is based on a string of murders that took place in the 1920s in Oklahoma’s Osage Nation after oil was discovered on tribal land. Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, and Brendan Fraser are among the cast members in addition to producer Leonardo DiCaprio. With this movie, Scorsese collaborates with DiCaprio for the sixth time and with De Niro for the tenth time.
7. John Wick: Chapter 4, March 23, 2023
The upcoming American neo-noir action thriller movie John Wick: Chapter 4 was written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch and directed by Chad Stahelski. It is the fourth entry in the John Wick movie series and the follow-up to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019). Filming took place in Berlin, Paris, Osaka, and New York City from June to October 2021, with Keanu Reeves reprising his role as the title character.
8. Oppenheimer, July 23, 2023
The upcoming biographical movie Oppenheimer, written and directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, an American theoretical physicist known as the “father of the atomic bomb” for his work on the Manhattan Project, which produced the first nuclear weapons during World War II.
9. Wonka, December 15, 2023
A screenplay by Simon Farnaby and Paul King was used to create the upcoming musical fantasy movie Wonka. The movie, which stars Timothée Chalamet as the title character and follows his early years as an eccentric chocolatier, is a prequel to Roald Dahl’s 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Supporting actors include Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, Jim Carter, Matt Lucas, Natasha Rothwell, Olivia Colman, and Rowan Atkinson.
10. Fast X, May 19, 2023
Fast X, commonly known as Fast & Furious 10, is an upcoming action movie from the United States that was written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau and is being directed by Louis Leterrier. It is the follow-up to F9 (2021), the tenth main instalment and the eleventh complete movie in the Fast & Furious series. As Dominic Toretto, Vin Diesel is portrayed in the movie alongside a large ensemble cast that also includes Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa, John Cena, Brie Larson, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Daniela Melchior, Alan Ritchson, Helen Mirren, Cardi B, Rita Moren When Cipher (Theron) hires Dante (Momoa), a shadowy new character, Toretto and his team are forced to seek assistance in their battle.
