The group’s search for Adolf Hitler, the most infamous villain in history, is highlighted in the most recent trailer for Hunters season 2 on Amazon. In February 2020, the streamer hosted the first episode of the historical fiction series. The series followed a vibrant team of Nazi hunters in the centre of 1977 New York City as they hunted for numerous former Nazi officers who had moved to America after the war. Hunters’ second season has been delayed longer than anticipated, but it was just just confirmed that this will be the final instalment of the show.

The first full-length trailer for the upcoming second season of the popular historical fiction series Hunters has just been released by Amazon Prime Video. In the latest taste of the upcoming blood-spattered final season, the action-packed trailer plunges headfirst into the latest chapter for the renowned organisation of Nazi hunters as they travel over Europe, bring on new members, and desperately seek for Hitler.

Everything to know about Hunters Season 2

As her character has been attempting to do for more than 20 years, Jennifer Jason Leigh joins forces with the renowned Nazi hunters in the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Hunters season 2. In the concluding season of the popular Amazon series, Jennifer Jason Leigh will join regular cast members Logan Lerman, Al Pacino, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, Carol Kane, Louis Ozawa, Kate Mulvany, and Greg Austin. Jordan Peele, a legendary figure in the horror genre, serves as the series’ executive producer.

Meyer Offerman, played by Al Pacino, was killed by Jonah Heidelbaum (Lerman) in Hunters season 1, however it seems that Pacino’s character still has a story to tell in the upcoming season 2. In the most recent trailer, Pacino’s Offerman can be seen in flashbacks as a parallel second-season storyline delves into the Hunters’ history and explains how Offerman originally got the violent gang together, while Offerman’s actual identity begs to be revealed. It would be intriguing to see how the flashbacks focused on Offerman’s history start to erode even more profound, dark truths as viewers learn Offerman’s true identity going into Hunters season 2.

One wonders if the most notorious Nazi, Hitler, will in fact be the series finale antagonist after Offerman returns to the upcoming season following his death in the form of flashbacks to disclose more of his dark and violent background. Given the first season of Hunters’ phenomenal popularity, it will be interesting to see if the second and final seasons can match it, especially given the three-year gap between the first and second seasons. On January 13, Hunters season 2 will debut on Amazon Prime.
