A new Game of Thrones costume brings Sansa Stark to life flawlessly. Sansa, portrayed by Sophie Turner, is the older of the two Stark daughters in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, which is based on the best-selling books of the same name by George R.R. Martin. Over the course of the series, Sansa was frequently compared with her younger sister Arya (Maisie Williams). Sansa began as a person with very little strength and gradually learned how to deal with her perilous circumstances. She finally triumphed, enduring several terrifying experiences and developing cunning and political knowledge until she was crowned Queen in the North and in charge of her ancestral stronghold of Winterfell.

On Twitter, costume designer Tami Mimiko recently posted a photo of a stunning Sansa Stark cosplay set against a snowy setting that even has crimson leaves evocative of the Winterfell Weirwood trees. The costume adds complex elements to Sansa’s already layered style, including glimpses of Weirwood leaves concealed under the long skirts and a stunning black feathered cape, taking influence from Sansa’s dark and muted attire in the later seasons of the series. Sansa’s crown, which she received in the Game of Thrones season finale when she was formally crowned Queen in the North, was also incorporated by the cosplayer. Check out the post below:

Sansa Stark became more popular later in Game of Thrones

Sansa Stark’s style is so well captured in Mimiko’s stunningly authentic cosplay, from her gleaming red hair to her chic furs and commanding posture. Three years after her last on-screen appearance, the cosplayer’s striking likeness to Turner and dedication to recreating this appearance in a setting that might pass for Winterfell absolutely bring Sansa to life. Despite the controversy surrounding the last season of Game of Thrones, many fans admired Sansa’s ultimate destination since it showed how much the public’s perception of her evolved over time.

Sansa was one of the youngest characters in the Game of Thrones ensemble cast in season 1, and she was initially hated by many fans because of her haughty demeanor, rude interactions with her family, and lack of agency. Although her acts were typical of teenagers, they caused many audience members to criticize her harshly and become annoyed by her choices and the situations she found herself in. Despite being the series’ protagonist and a member of the often moral Stark family, Sansa was even listed on a list of Game of Thrones villains released to social media earlier this year, which prompted fans of the show to defend her.

The audience’s dislike of Sansa’s evil would-be spouse Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), the other Lannisters, and eventually, her terrible husband Ramsey allowed her to gain compassion as the series progressed (Iwan Rheon). Aside from that feeling, the character gained the admiration of viewers thanks to her innate composure, love of strategy, and capacity for independent thought, which occasionally resulted in conflict between her and Jon (Kit Harrington) when they differed on a military plan. Few could argue that Sansa did not deserve her position as Queen in the North, to which the aforementioned costume beautifully pays respect, even though she continued to irritate some fans as Game of Thrones progressed.
