Andoh will repeat her part alongside Rosheuvel and Ruth Gemmell, who will reprise their roles as the older queen and Lady Violet Bridgerton, while Thomas will represent the younger Lady Danbury alongside Amarteifio’s Queen Charlotte.
About the Plot and Cast of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
Following the successful debut of Bridgerton season 1 in January, which saw the series swiftly become the platform’s most-watched original show at the time, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story was initially commissioned by Netflix in May 2021. Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer of Bridgerton, will pen the scripts for the series, which her production firm Shondaland will create for the streaming service. Eight episodes long, Queen Charlotte: A Brigerton Story is scheduled to debut in 2023; the Bridgerton prequel’s filming wrapped up in September 2022.
