Spider-Man fans are bringing attention to a Spider-Verse character who is absent from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and needs to be included. When Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse from Sony Pictures is released in 2023, Miles Morales’ tale will continue. The animated franchise is delving more deeply into the multiverse idea in the wake of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-enormous Verse’s popularity. While Miles’ most recent journey as his world’s web-slinger is the focus of the narrative, he will also encounter both new and old allies. The stakes are rising in the sequel as more and more Spider-Mans are introduced in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Sony postponed the animated sequel from its initial autumn release date to give the movie more time to be made.

Fans are still guessing who else may appear in the movie after a new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse teaser was released that showed a lot more Spider-Man variations. Numerous additional Variants might seem given the vast expanse of the Spider-Verse in the books. Supaidaman, a.k.a. Japanese Spider-Man from the 1970s live-action program, is one Spider-Man version that fans are really wanting to see, according to a discussion thread on Reddit. Producer of Across the Spider-Verse Phil Lord previously made a suggestion that Japanese Spider-Man would make a cameo, and obviously, fans still want it to happen. Take a look at what they said below:

All of the Spider-Man Characters Confirmed to Appear in the Spider-Verse

Aside from Miles, new and returning Variants will appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker, two of Miles’ new companions when he was still learning about his abilities, are back from the first movie. Miguel O’Hara, better known as Spider-Man 2099, made his film debut in the original movie’s post-credits sequence and will play a big part in the sequel. Jonathan Ohne, also known as The Spot, is a new antagonist who will make his film debut in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

However, the introduction of a fresh foe brings with it a variety of Spider-Man iterations, several of which were shown in the most recent teaser. The main characters of the sequel will be Jessica Drew and Hobart Brown, aka Spider-Woman and Spider-Punk, respectively. The most recent clip also included appearances by the Spider-Man from the Insomniac video game series. Other confirmed cameos include appearances by Spider-Monkey, Werewolf Spider-Man, and Superior Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will also feature the short-lived version of Spider-Man Unlimited. Concept art has established Pavitr Prabhakar as the Indian Spider-Man. The Spectacular Spider-Man, seen in the newest image, will also make a cameo.

It would be an understatement to say that the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse animation team exceeded expectations. It only goes to show how much they are capitalizing on the Spider-Verse mythology, even though most of the Variants making an appearance will probably be cameos. Given that a female Spider-Verse spinoff is in development, it wouldn’t be surprising if further spinoff films were produced after the latest installment. It would be entertaining to see spinoffs for the new Variants to help grow the franchise, depending on how many of them are accepted. Time will tell what lies after Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, but there are plans to make the sequel at least as popular as Avengers: Endgame.
