The Star of Stranger Things Hints Season 5 May Rightfully Honor Will’s Story

According to actor Noah Schnapp, season 5 of Stranger Things may be heavily focused on Will Byers as the narrative for his character appears to be coming full circle. Since its first release on Netflix in 2016, the Duffer brothers’ Stranger Things has seen its audience grow with each new season. The popular science fiction show centers on the people of Hawkins, Indiana. This fictitious town has been affected by a string of unexplained incidents that started as a result of its link to the terrifying other world known as the Upside Down.

Following the debut of its newest villain, Vecna, in Stranger Things season 4 this summer, which brought new tragedy to Hawkins, fans are now anxious to discover what will happen in the show’s forthcoming final season. When asked whether he could provide any information about Stranger Things season 5 during a recent interview with Forbes, Will Byers actor Schnapp responded with an intriguing tease. After saying that he thinks the Duffer brothers had an “amazing job” with Will’s character in season 5, Schnapp hinted that the program “will conclude with Will” in a possible full circle moment. See the complete quote from Schnapp below:

I can just tell you that I’m very very excited for what’s to come. I think they did a great job with Will’s character this season, and beautifully addressed everything they needed to. The way they closed the show is just perfect — the story started with Will, and it’ll end with Will.

May Might Be Essential To Saving Max & Vanquishing Vecna In Stranger Things Season 5

Vecna’s arrival in Stranger Things season 4 meant that the stakes in Hawkins were suddenly considerably higher as the deadly abilities of the humanoid beast overtook the little community. The popular Max character also had a difficult time in the new episodes, as Vecna finally managed to capture her and murder her for a whole minute before Eleven partially restored her. When Stranger Things season 5 premieres, Max is in a coma, Vecna is out for vengeance after being wounded in season 4’s closing moments, and it is unclear who will hold the key to Vecna’s eventual defeat.

Some have suggested that Would’s participation in Stranger Things season 5 will be crucial to preserving Hawkins because Will was the subject of Stranger Things season 1 and later seasons highlighted his lasting link to the Upside Down. Will appeared to feel the horrors that would follow at the end of season 4, and speculations started to grow that Will would be the center of season 5 and the key to defeating Vecna and rescuing Max. Naturally, given that Vecna proved to be a potent force in season 4, this might ultimately bode problems for Will. As a result, anxiety is at an all-time high among fans who are now worried about Schnapp’s character.

When will Stranger Things Season 5 be available?

Schnapp’s remarks undoubtedly support this notion, but regardless of what they may suggest, it’s heartening to know that the actor is delighted with how Will’s story will conclude in Stranger Things season 5. A release window has not yet been determined for Stranger Things season 5, so viewers are unsure of exactly when to anticipate it. There is still some time until Will’s ultimate destiny is known because Stranger Things is anticipated to return at some point in 2024 and the final season’s filming is scheduled to begin in earnest in 2023.
