The associates posted the following on social media, “With great sadness we announce the death of our wonderful client Stephen Greif. His extensive career included numerous roles on screen and stage, including at the National Theatre, RSC and in the West End. We will miss him dearly and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
Fans have been posting condolences and loving tributes to the deceased actor on the microblogging website ever since the news of his passing broke. In Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England, on August 24, 1944, Stephen Greif was born. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art as a student. Following graduation, he joined the National Theatre Company at the Old Vic and Southbank.
