Evangeline Lilly, from the movie Ant-Man, is keenly advocating for an All-Female Avengers film

Evangeline Lilly, who starred in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is highly interested in being the lead in an all-female Avengers/A-Force film.

“Yes! I want to be a part of it. I’d want to see that come to pass “When asked if she wanted to appear in an A-Force movie, Lilly enthused. “The most memorable day of my life was the day we filmed the sequence for Avengers: Endgame where it was just the two of us ladies. I think that was the most memorable day I’ve ever had while filming a Marvel movie. There was that one and the time I was filming a scene with Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, and Bill Murray on my 42nd birthday. They both excelled.”

An All-Female Superhero Team in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Lilly responded when pressed for further information about the other actors she’d want to work with within the movie: “any woman. Each and every one of them. every woman.” As for the bad guy, Josh Brolin’s Thanos and Kang are competing for Lilly’s affection (Jonathan Majors). When the going became tough, she claimed she would rather battle the Mad Titan. “I think I want to watch us take on Thanos. Perhaps that’s because we did it in Endgame, but Captain Marvel won in the end (Brie Larson). Although we want her to be in the film, I would prefer to see a cooperative effort in which 10 ladies surround the main character and subdue him.”

Not just Lilly but other MCU actors have shown interest in an A-Force movie. Back in 2019, Larson stated, “I’m still very on this idea of an all-female Avengers movie. “It would be so iconic and powerful to bring all the ladies together and operate as a team.” You realize the beauty of these new superhero movies is that everyone has their own unique abilities they bring to the table after seeing Avengers: Endgame and seeing all of those characters on screen, she continued. “Their own superpower, if you will. Additionally, there isn’t enough representation of women working as a team on television.”

A-Force actually exists in the pages of Marvel Comics, despite the fact that it hasn’t yet made an appearance in the MCU. A-Force debuted in May 2015’s A-Force #1, written by G. Willow Wilson and Marguerite Bennett, with art by Jorge Molina. The crew was led by She-Huk and included Dazzler, Medusa, Nico Minoru, and Singularity; subsequently, Captain Marvel and Thor were included (Alison Blaire).
