According to game actor Troy Baker, the third episode of The Last of Us will deviate from fans’ expectations even if it is anticipated to be an accurate rendition. The connection between grizzled survivor Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and 14-year-old orphan Ellie is the main focus of the HBO adaptation, which is based on the 2013 PlayStation 3 video game of the same name (Bella Ramsey). Joel and Tess (Anna Torv), his partner in smuggling, are charged with delivering Ellie across a zombie-infested United States to the violent revolutionary group known as the Fireflies after a bad transaction. When Joel discovers Ellie has a remarkable immunity to the fungus that is wreaking havoc on the Earth, he quickly realizes the value of his precocious cargo, despite his initial reluctance.

Baker said that by The Last of Us episode 3, viewer expectations would alter on the Play Watch Listen podcast with Alanah Pearce. The actor who provided the voice and acting for Joel in the game revealed that he had seen the series up to episode 5 and was really pleased with what he had witnessed. James, a member of the violent survivor gang, is played by Baker in the new program. Following are some comments Baker made regarding The Last of Us:

“I’ve seen up to episode five and, I can tell you right now, you get to episode three, you’re done. You are standing on your desk, “O, Captain! My Captain!” What it sets up in the first two episodes, it introduces you to the world if you have no idea what it is. It takes all of your expectations and just gets rid of them.”

How much of the game will Episode 3 of The Last Of Us cover?

Last of Us Fans have received reassurances from HBO co-creators Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin that the upcoming adaptation would be faithful to the original material. As a result, many of the important story aspects of the original game will probably be repeated in the program, particularly the moving prologue chapter. However, the new HBO photos of The Last of Us reveal that the tale’s initial act has been greatly enlarged for the television adaptation.

Joel and his daughter Sarah are introduced in the famous first-person video game on the eve of the fungus epidemic. The prologue switches to fear as Joel, his brother Tommy, and Sarah are forced to flee by the infected after a brief interlude in which Sarah presents her father with a watch. According to the most recent photos from HBO, episode 1 will build on the prologue’s plot as Sarah (Nico Parker) is visible throughout the day and will cover a significant portion of Joel and Tess’ interactions with the Boston Quarantine Zone. As a result, episodes 2 and 3 will probably focus on Joel, Tess, and Ellie’s trek across Boston and out of the quarantine zone, perhaps coming to an end soon after Tess’ passing.
