Yellowstone fans will be relieved to learn that they won’t have to worry about missing an episode on Christmas because it has been revealed that the show’s Season 5 midseason finale won’t premiere on Sunday, December 25, but rather will air a week later on New Year’s Day. On November 13, a two-hour special event marked the start of the fifth season on the Paramount Network. Since that time, the show has been producing brand-new episodes every Sunday.

The series’ eighth episode and midseason finale will both be named “A Knife And No Coin” and will air next. For anyone who might wish to watch the show throughout the holiday season, Paramount will be running a Holiday Marathon that includes not only Yellowstone but also the other prequel series 1883 and 1923, which are also part of the universe created by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan.

The television show explores the swaying allegiances, unsolved killings, unhealed wounds, and cultivated respect on the namesake ranch.
