In the upcoming K-drama “The Real Deal Has Come!” actor Ahn Jae Hyun has been cast in the male lead role. Kwak Si Yang had previously taken on this role, however he resigned due to schedule conflicts with his ongoing filming.

The upcoming K-drama, which will be aired on KBS2, tells the tale of a man who meets a single mother despite not wanting to be married. He goes by the name of Gong Tae Kyung and is a gifted obstetrician and gynaecologist who views life very differently as a single, unmarried man. His life is changed when he meets Oh Yeon Doo, a mother by herself. Oh Yeon Doo’s female lead has been cast as actress Baek Jin Hee.

Actor Kwak Si Yang, who was originally cast in the part of Gong Tae Kyung, opted to leave the K-drama because he found it challenging to juggle the filming schedules of two different projects. He contacted with the drama’s production staff and informed them of his decision to leave because on December 19 the filming for his upcoming movie, ‘Desperate Pursuit,’ had already started. The choice was made in order to protect the K-cast drama’s and staff from harm.

However, Ahn Hae Hyun’s followers are eager to see him perform once more because “The Real Deal Has Come!” will shortly begin filming. He played iconic roles in K-dramas such as ‘Blood,’ ‘The Beauty Inside,’ ‘Into the World Again,’ and ‘Cinderella and the Four Knights,’ among others. His face is sorely missed on screen. Fans are eagerly anticipating Ahn Jae Hyun and Baek Jin Hee’s new partnership.
