The show’s ambition is only exceeded by its execution, and I thank the incredible creative team behind it, including Ashley, Bart, Jonathan, eOne and the Showtime team, for turning this into such a success.”
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Tawny Cypress play four women who became friends after their high school soccer team was stranded in the harsh Canadian wilderness for 19 months following a plane crash in 1996. With younger actors Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, and Jasmin Savoy Brown playing the roles of Lynskey, Ricci, Lewis, and Cypress, respectively, the show also flashes back to how they managed to survive in the wild. They are joined by Ella Purnell, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson.
