Kit Harington, star of Game of Thrones, teases the Jon Snow spinoff series, He’s Not OK

During his attendance at the Game of Thrones conference in Los Angeles, Kit Harington was unavoidably questioned about the recently announced Jon Snow sequel series. Harington talked on how Jon Snow wound up in the series and what might have happened to him after his character killed Daenerys, while being unable to comment much on the show’s progress.

“I think if you asked him, he would’ve felt he got off lightly,” Harington said during the panel at the convention Sunday night, according to Entertainment Weekly. “At the end of the show when we find him in that cell, he’s preparing to be beheaded and he wants to be. He’s done. The fact he goes to the Wall is the greatest gift and also the greatest curse.”

He has to return to the location associated with all of this history and spend the rest of his days reflecting about how he killed Dany, how he held Ygritte as she died, how he hanged Olly, and how he dealt with all of this trauma. That, too, is interesting, said Harington.
Harington alluded to the emotional state his character was in at the conclusion of Game of Thrones and subtly hinted at the Jon Snow spinoff series.

There’s always this sensation of like where we leave him at the conclusion of the episode, so I think… We likely desired a small smile to signal that everything is fine. He said, “He’s not OK.
Harington was the one who had the idea to continue Snow’s saga in a new series, according to information released by George R.R. Martin earlier this year.
In June of this year, Martin stated in his blog, “Yes, it was Kit Harrington (sic) who introduced the idea to us.

“Since that information has not yet been approved for release, I am unable to provide you the names of the writers and showrunners… But Kit also brought his own crew in, and they are excellent. Martin also revealed that the spinoff series’ working title is SNOW.
