Netflix’s K-Drama Series The Glory Will Arrive in December 2022

Actress Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook will collaborate on the upcoming South Korean revenge drama The Glory. Netflix will begin airing the series in December 2022. The Glory is a forthcoming South Korean revenge-drama Netflix Original series penned by Descendants of the Sun author Kim Eun Sook. Ahn Gil Ho, who previously helmed the dramas Happiness, Stranger, and Memories of the Alhambra, will be directing the series.

What is The Glory’s plot?

In her senior year of high school, Moon Dong Eun had a desire of becoming an architect. However, Moon Dong Eun is compelled to leave school after enduring a vicious attack from her bullies. Years later, the bully gets married, has a kid, and continues to go to the same primary school where Moon Dong Eun is now a homeroom teacher. After years of planning, Moon Don Eun finally executes her plan to exact revenge on her past bullies and the schoolmates who stood by and did nothing.

Who are The Glory’s cast members?

With Song Hye Kyo’s casting, she and writer Kim Eun-sook, who had previously collaborated on the hugely successful South Korean television series Descendants of the Sun, are reunited. Lee Do Hyun, a huge fan favourite, was recently spotted in the Netflix Original series Sweet Home. Im Ji Yeon appeared in the Korean adaption of Money Heist in 2022, marking her Netflix debut.
When The Glory premieres on Netflix, Park Sung-Hoon will also make his Netflix debut. The performer is well-known for his roles in Psychopath Diary and Joseon Exorcist. The Glory’s complete cast is listed below:

When will The Glory be available on Netflix?

The Glory’s lead actress Song Hye Kyo acknowledged receiving the first two episodes’ scripts in an Instagram post on February 3, 2022. She wrote “Start” as the image’s caption, leading us to believe that the drama’s current production has started. We initially didn’t anticipate The Glory to be available on Netflix before the end of 2022 because filming took longer than anticipated.
But we’ve been aware for a time that The Glory would be available on Netflix on Friday, December 30, 2022, and now that promotional material and the official teaser trailer have been made available, we can confirm the release date is accurate. Upon release, all eight episodes will be streamable.
