Margot Robbie recalls the time she persuaded Damien Chazelle to include a kissing scene between her and Brad Pitt in Babylon

Margot Robbie explained how she persuaded Damien Chazelle, the director of Babylon, to include a kissing sequence between her and Brad Pitt’s characters. The film, directed by Damien Chazelle, is set in 1920s Hollywood and depicts the disorderly world of the entertainment industry’s excesses and unrestrained ambitions. Margot revealed one of the movie’s most famous scenes a kiss between her and Brad Pitt’s charactersin an interview with E! News.

The kissing scene was actually improvised on set, the Barbie star revealed to E! News, shocking everyone with her response. When asked how the scene from Babylon came to be, the actress quips, “That wasn’t in the script.” She continued, “But I thought, ‘When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’m just gonna go for it.'” She continued, saying that the kiss moment “was just great,” and she acknowledged that she had to persuade filmmaker Damien Chazelle to make it happen.

For those who are unaware, Brad and Margot collaborated on the film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. They will reunite with Babylon, which opens in some theatres on December 23. A steamy kiss between the two actors will be seen in the movie, which wasn’t originally in the movie. Robbie admitted, “I said, ‘Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack, And Damien was like, ‘Well, she could—wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again.’ And he was like, ‘It does work for the character,’ and I was like, ‘I think so.'”

The upcoming epic comedy-drama Babylon is written and directed by Damien Chazelle. Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li are among the ensemble cast members. The story follows several characters as they rise and fall during the changeover from silent to sound movies in Hollywood in the late 1920s.
