Warner Brothers just announced the early release of The Flash, much to the pleasure of their fans. The Flash was originally scheduled to visit theatres on June 23, 2023, but it will now debut on June 16, 2023, one week earlier than originally planned.

The release date reportedly changed to allow The Flash to hit theatres at least two weeks before Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which opens on June 30, 2023, in order to beat theatre crowds. Due to the controversies surrounding The Flash actor Ezra Miller, WB’s release strategy will undoubtedly give The Flash the breathing room it needs to generate the right kind of buzz.

Ezra Miller’s recent behavior has been regrettable. The latest scandals surrounding the actor will surely have an impact on what could have been one of the biggest DC Universe films to date. Then there’s all the commotion surrounding Batgirl, which makes Michael Keaton’s participation in The Flash and the larger film industry controversial.

This Andy Muschietti-directed film, which is based on the beloved DC Comics character The Flash, will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Michael Keaton as Batman, Ben Affleck as another version of Batman, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. On June 16, 2023, the film is scheduled to make its theatrical debut.
