Avatar: The Way Of Water: The Weeknd Reveals New Music For The Movie

Hollywood singer The Weeknd teased fans about his new music for James Cameron’s Avatar sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, amid intense anticipation. On December 4, the Canadian singer tweeted a brief clip that appears to be from the Avatar 2 soundtrack. Fans are anxiously counting down the days before the sequel’s release as the intrigue around it grows with each new revelation.

The Weeknd gave fans more reason to be excited by teasing new music for Avatar 2. Although the creators haven’t revealed much, the singer’s posted video has left fans in the dark. The brief preview previewed a drumming score with choir accompaniment that would bring to mind James Horner’s stunning first part composition. Producer Jon Landou did the same, posting a photo of himself with The Weeknd along with the message, “As the Na’vi [the fictional language of the film say, ‘Zola’u nìprrte’ soaiane Avatar’… Welcome to the Avatar family.”

Avatar: The Way of Water’s final stage of production has been finished after a nearly six-year journey, and the sequel is now unquestionably on schedule to debut in theatres around the world. Twelve years have passed since the release of the original Avatar movie, which became one of the highest-grossing Hollywood productions.

Everything depends on whether the second movie will be released as director James Cameron has already stated that he is prepared to release the subsequent sequels of the movie. Avatar 3 has already been pipelined by 20th Century Studios for a release in December 2024. Avatar: The Way of Water, which opens in theatres next week, is anticipated to garner at least $150 million in the US. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang are among the cast members.
