The best season of the year is here! People are decorating their houses with holiday decorations, spending time with their families, sipping peppermint tea, and huddling in front of the television to watch…monster movies?

That must be the case with Netflix users, since the new movie Troll has recently risen to the top of the site’s list of the most-watched movies, just 48 hours after its release.

An ancient troll is awoken in the supernatural thriller Troll by an explosion on a Norwegian mountain. However, government authorities resort to a paleontologist called Nora (Ine Marie Wilmann) in the hopes that she may stop the terrifying beast from killing everything in its path.

After the troll destroys a couple’s home, a voice can be heard saying, “The incredible…is not impossible.”

This movie leans toward the paranormal, and the trailer reveals that the plot contains a legend. Another individual adds, “What if I told you that trolls roamed this Earth a thousand years ago?” “All fairy tales include a grain of reality,”

Roar Uthaug, the director of Cold Prey (2015), The Wave (2018), and Tomb Raider (2018), directed Troll (2006).

Kim Falck (Cold Prey III), Mads Sjgrd Pettersen (Home for Christmas), Gard B. Eidsvold (Witch Hunt), Anneke von der Lippe (Pan), Fridtjof Sheim (The Wave), Dennis Storhi (Nobel), and Billy Campbell also appear in the movie with Wilmann (The Rocketeer).

The troll has received positive reviews from reviewers in addition to being well-liked by spectators. Based on 12 reviews from critics, the movie currently has a good 83 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating.
