The upcoming star had to not only match James Gandolfini’s magnificent, commanding, impeccably lived-in performance—which won him an Emmy—but also establish himself in his own right, especially with his first leading role. Thankfully, the performer exceeded expectations, indicating a captivating, promising future for the budding star. However, since that potentially career-launching performance, Gandolfini has received several noteworthy supporting roles in several intriguing new films, including Cat Person, Landscape with Invisible Hand by Cory Finely, and Disappointment Blvd. by Ari Aster. However, he has now hit a large bullseye. Gandolfini has joined Marvel’s newest Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, which will have Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising their respective roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, as it was previously reported earlier today.
Gandolfini’s part in Daredevil: Born Again is a mystery, according to Deadline, although the magazine theorizes that he would portray an ambitious young hotshot from Staten Island.
