Dune 2 is one of the most eagerly awaited films to be released in 2019. The sequel started filming in June of last year after Part One’s commercial and critical triumph. Timothée Chalamet, who plays the central character, is the most recent to share details from the picturesque settings with the audience.

In a recent photo posted to Instagram by the actor, he is seen donning a pretty unique hoodie. A 3D skeleton-printed dark teal sweatshirt is what Chalamet is sporting as he stands facing away from us. In spite of the fact that fans frequently search for Easter eggs or interesting production details in images like these, the new image offers none.

Villeneuve, the film’s director, is mostly responsible for Dune’s success, which received ten Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay, and won six of them. He did an excellent job of acquainting both new and seasoned readers with the magical universe created by author Frank Herbert.

Between filming Dune: Part Two, Wonka, and promoting his most recent teen cannibal love story Bones and All, Chalamet has had a hectic year. Given that he has already been in so many Academy Award-nominated films over his brief career, his career trajectory is unparalleled. He co-stars with Zendaya as Chani, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Stellan Skarsgrd as Baron Harkonnen, and Dave Bautista as The Beast in the upcoming film.

Josh Brolin plays Gurney Halleck and Stephen McKinley plays Thufir Hawat in the revolving star cast. Austin Butler, who played Feyd-Rautha in the Elvis Presley film, Florence Pugh, who plays Princess Irulan, Christopher Walken, who plays Emperor Shaddam IV, Léa Seydoux, who plays Lady Margot, and Souheila Yacoub, who plays fighter Shishakli, all join the cast of Dune: Part 2. Dune: Part 2 will release in theaters on November 2, 2023.
