Samuel Jackson slams Quentin Tarantino’s ‘star-killed superhero’ comment: ‘Chadwick Boseman is a Black Panther’

Samuel L. Jackson has clarified his opinion on Quentin Tarantino firing a Marvel superhero for killing a movie star. The actor, who previously worked with Quentin Tarantino on Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Django Unchained, hit back at the filmmaker’s comments about “wonderful Hollywood.”

 “It takes actors to be these special characters, and has movie star Mark always been the butt of the seat? What are we talking about?” Samuel L. Jackson, who played Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, said in an interview with The View. Boseman is the Black Panther, no doubt about it, he’s a movie star.”

Samuel L. Jackson has starred as Nick his Fury in many Marvel movies. First Iron Man, then Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man Family Far Fong. Quentin Tarantino recently revealed that he has no interest in directing a Marvel movie, claiming that Hollywood is going through its worst time ever. “You have to be an employee to do these things,” he said. “I’m not an employee. I’m not looking for a job.”
