Black Panther Wakanda Forever actress Lupita Nyong’o posted some behind-the-scenes photos from the sequel’s set on Instagram to give fans a closer look at what happened off-screen. Through the addition of numerous new characters and a new culture, the film effectively broadens the MCU. In order to honour the original Black Panther, late actor Chadwick Boseman, director Ryan Coogler skillfully combines new characters with old ones in his latest box office smash. Despite its sequel’s focus on a variety of cultures, Wakanda Forever still manages to celebrate them.

Michaela Coel, who debuted as Aneka in the franchise, is pictured with the actor in the first picture. One witness sees her with Winston Duke while he is dressed as M’Baku. In between shots, we also catch a glimpse of the Dora Milaje and Florence Kasumba’s Ayo. While in another, Dania Gurira and Duke are depicted as M’Baku and Midnight Angel in their newly updated costumes.

In Wakanda Forever, we witness the titular nation defending itself against outside forces attempting to profit off the passing of its cherished king. Talokan, another underwater kingdom, is also in danger as the rest of the world pursues the valuable metal Vibranium. Having doubts about Wakanda’s loyalty, Namor, the ruler of the underwater kingdom, attacks the surface area.

Since its release, the highly regarded film has performed remarkably well, grossing over $675 million worldwide and topping $367 million domestically. The film skillfully incorporates stunning set pieces and action sequences while also dealing with issues of loss, sorrow, and grief. The cast has received a lot of praise for their performances, with some, like Angela Bassett’s, sparking talk of Academy Awards.
