Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren play Jacob and Cara Dutton in Taylor Sheridan’s newest Yellowstone origin story, 1923, which Paramount+ is giving viewers an early glimpse at. Fans will recognize the setting as Montana, where the action begins. Here, they will see the early stages of the Dutton homestead, which is now shown in Yellowstone.

The prequel also features some welcome new cast members, like Timothy Dalton as a rich sophisticate with slick wheels who moves in next door to the Duttons and Game of Thrones Jerome Flynn as a local heavy. That probably won’t turn out nicely.

Along with Darren Mann from Animal Kingdom, Michelle Randolph from A Snow White Christmas, James Badge Dale from Hightown, Marley Shelton from Scream, Brian Geraghty from Big Sky, and Aminah Nieves, 1923 also featured these actors (Blueberry). During the Sunday episode of Yellowstone, the trailer debuted.

On Sunday, December 18, Paramount+ will debut in 1923 in the United States and Canada. The first episode will also be broadcast linearly on Paramount Network after a brand-new episode of Yellowstone. The early twentieth century, when pandemics, a severe drought, the repeal of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all afflicted the mountain west, will be examined in the series, according to the streamer.

Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson are among the executive producers of the movie 1923. It is made by Bosque Ranch Productions, 101 Studios, and MTV Entertainment Studios.
