Season 5 of the Netflix’s most anticipated series Virgin River has finished filming. The actors of the television series danced behind-the-scenes to Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family” to celebrate the completion of filming, which started in July in Vancouver. The cast members of the show have also shared content on their social media pages, giving fans a preview of what to anticipate from their characters in the upcoming season.

Despite the fact that the show’s stars, Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge, haven’t yet posted anything about the wrap, Breckenridge recently shared a photo of the pair on the set with Ted Sarandos, co-chief executive officer and chief content officer of Netflix, in the hopes that the popular romantic drama will receive more seasons on the streaming service.

Virgin River’s fourth season ended on a cliffhanger about Charmaine, played by Lauren Hammersley, admitting that Jack is not the father of her twins. Hammersley published on her personal Instagram, “It’s my 5th year of pregnancy and I don’t know what everyone is complaining about.”

The actor who portrays Cameron, the show’s resident doctor, shared a preview for the upcoming season along with a picture of himself being filmed in front of the camera. The actor, who was beaming in a scene, announced that the forthcoming season required him to perform a couple of firsts as an actor. He used the stethoscope, chilli pepper, and fire emojis. Zibby Allen wrote on her Instagram story, “it’s been sweet AF,” to bid the production farewell. Her character, Brie, ended the previous season after being persuaded to file a police report following a surprise visit from the assailant. Virgin River’s fifth season release date has yet to be announced, but it is anticipated to premiere in 2023.
