The most recent show from Lucasfilm is called “Willow,” a brand-new epic period fantasy series with a modern sensibility set in a magical land of breathtaking beauty. “Willow” has a diverse international cast, with executive producers Jonathan Kasdan, Ron Howard, Wendy Mericle, Kathleen Kennedy, and Michelle Rejwan.
At the beginning of the story, a young girl born to unite the worlds and an aspiring magician from a Nelwyn village helped drive out the forces of darkness and defeat a wicked queen. The adventure continues as an unlikely band of heroes embarks on a perilous journey to locations far from their homes where they will have to confront their inner demons and band together to save their world. This takes place in a magical realm populated by brownies, sorcerers, trolls, and other mythical beings.
Willow will have 8 episodes, the first of which will be available on Disney+ on November 30, 2022, a Wednesday.
The world will only be able to watch the brand-new Lucasfilm series on Disney+. As a result, it won’t be accessible through other streaming services like HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, or Netflix.
