The eleventh and final supersized season of The Walking Dead has already finished broadcasting on AMC. The Walking Dead season 11 will soon be available on Netflix in several countries, including the United States. Here is the approximate release date for Netflix’s third and final season of The Walking Dead. The show, which is an adaptation of the same-named comics, has been a mainstay on AMC and Netflix for years (depending on where you reside). The series has been available on Netflix US since 2014, with fresh seasons following each year (except season 10 which was delayed due to COVID-19).
We should point out that if you want to subscribe to Netflix and watch The Walking Dead, you must be on the premium tier because the ad-supported version of the service does not offer the programme. The final episode of Season 11 has been enlarged. There will be 24 episodes in the last season, two more than there were in season 10. As previously said, Netflix only has The Walking Dead.
The various spin-off series have all appeared on competing streaming platforms throughout the world, including Amazon Prime, Disney+, and others. The first batch of episodes from Season 11 were made available back in August 2021, and the season finale aired on November 20th, 2022. According to Unogs, the eleventh season will be available on Netflix in at least 26 countries.
When will Netflix release Season 11 of The Walking Dead?
Typically, Netflix releases new seasons shortly before the following one on AMC premieres, but that won’t be the case in this instance. Even if we don’t anticipate that to change the date, it’s important to keep in mind. Its Netflix release date might also be affected by an extended season length.
It would fall between March and April 2023, as past seasons have typically been uploaded on Netflix between 113 and 161 days following their ending date. The show will debut in January 2023, but we haven’t been able to confirm that date. We’ll have to wait until official confirmation, though, in reality. By September 2023 at the very latest, TWD season 11 will be available for streaming.
Season 11 is only available on AMC+ in the US, either directly or through Amazon Prime Channels, until it is added to Netflix. Previous seasons have been distributed to Netflix USA and Netflix Canada simultaneously, so we anticipate this pattern to continue. The Walking Dead season 11 has already been released in 8 international markets, including Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, and others.
Netflix will discontinue The Walking Dead, though it’s unclear when. For ideas, we can refer to existing AMC programmes. The Walking Dead will leave Netflix after 2026 if it follows Hell on Wheels’ exit schedule. The show’s new long-term home on streaming services outside of the US is Disney+. That’s where the show presently airs in a number of countries, including the UK. We anticipate that the programme will eventually air solely on AMC+ in the US.
