Here’s a breakdown of how the show fared in the top ten (note that we’re missing the first week of viewings because Netflix’s data only goes up to June 27th).

Only Squid Game, Money Heist, and Lupin performed better than Sex/Life. Nielsen estimated the first season’s viewing figures in the United States to be over 449 million minutes watched.

Who will be on the Sex/Life cast again in season two?

There will undoubtedly be a large number of actors from the first season. Naturally, Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, and Adam Demos, the actors who starred in Netflix’s sauciest love triangle, will make a comeback. Mike Vogel, Margaret Odette, Phoenix Reich, Jonathan Sadowski, Li Jun Li, and Amber Goldfarb.
We also learned who would be appearing in Sex/Life season 2 by the end of February 2022:

Wallis Day (known for playing Kate Kane in Batwoman and Agent Shin in Infinite) will play Gigi.
Craig Bierko (known for UnREAL) will play Mick.
Dylan Bruce (who starred in Orphan Black and Midnight, Texas) will play Spencer.
Darius Homayoun (known for playing Amir in Succession and Peyman in Apple TV+’s Tehran) will play Majid.

When will Sex/Life Season 2 be available on Netflix?

According to Production Weekly issue #1276, filming will begin on February 7th, 2022. Filming will last several weeks before wrapping up on April 29th, 2022. According to the Canadian Director’s Guild, post-production on the show will last until June 17th, and sound-post (things like ADR) will last until the end of October 2022. Danielle Statuto, the series’ editor, announced on Instagram on May 10th that she was editing the season finale of Sex/Life season 2. Stacy Rukeyser tweeted in September 2022 that they were dubbing the series in “18 languages, adding 4 from season 1.”

As of now, no release date or window has been announced. Some speculated that the show would return in late 2022, but given that we now have a schedule for December 2022, we can safely assume that Sex/Life will not return until 2023.
