Hollywood Life reports that during her appearance on Australia’s Today Show, Eva Mendes made the choice to refer to Ryan Gosling as her spouse. She said, “Everybody is amazing, everybody is welcoming us, it’s been so beautiful. My husband Ryan is here … and our children are here, we’re having the best time.”
Esmeralda and Amada are Mendes’ daughters from his relationship with the 42-year-old actor. She continued to make fun of her ordinary looking husband after the hosts of the show screened a shirtless scene from Ryan Gosling’s movie “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” “Yeah, that’s my life, unfortunately,” she said in a sarcastic tone. “And he’s a great cook and he bakes. I got the short end of the stick, didn’t I!” she added.
Fans of the actors were therefore incredibly shocked by Mendes’ comment. The couple, who have been dating for more than ten years, has always kept their union private.
