James Gunn, who directed The Guardians of the Galaxy, explains why he decided against adding Richard Rider, aka Nova, to the initial Marvel Cinematic Universe squad.

The group will be the main character in the narrative as they try to cheer up Peter Quill by reminding him of the meaning of Christmas.
