The next movie will follow a K-pop boyband who get lost in Texas on the way to their New York debut concert. The gang needs to find a means to get to New York in time for their performance while being penniless and without their cell phones. Although his participation in the project has not yet been officially confirmed, it was previously reported in July that ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo had been offered the lead role in Lost in America. According to Deadline, Riverdale’s Charles Melton and Australian actress Rebel Wilson (Senior Year) have also been given roles in the movie.

The movie tells the tale of a Korean boy band that travels to New York for its debut but gets lost in Texas without any money or cell phones. Boy band Astro member Cha Eun-woo, a singer and actor, is a candidate to play the lead role. Yoon Je-kyoon, a well-known Korean filmmaker who directed “Haeundae” and “The Negotiation,” will direct the future feature. For filming, the bandmate of Monsta X will remain in the US from March until June.

Jooheon’s involvement in the film has been confirmed by the band’s management company, Starship Entertainment. There are still more details to come. In 2015, Monsta X was created as a result of the Mnet survival audition competition “No Mercy.” One of the seven contestants who made in into the group was Jooheon.
