Recently, Ryan Reynolds disclosed that Hugh Jackman gave him “excellent counsel” for his upcoming film Spirited. The Deadpool star revealed that Spirited, which is based on a Charles Dickens tale, features certain songs that are similar to those from Hugh Jackman’s smash hit The Greatest Showman.
The Green Lantern star then had the idea to ask Hugh for some advice. Ryan stated in an interview with Big Issue via Metro UK that “it comes so naturally to Hugh that weirdly, his helping was not helping.”
Hugh was like, “Just make sure you’re listening to those count-offs and those beats,” the Adam Project star continued. “I responded, Man, I don’t hear the rhythms. Here, help me out with something real.”
“Hugh did,” Ryan said. “Hugh and I were having coffee one day when he reminded me of something very crucial with practically anything you’re doing in the arts,” the Free Guy actor said. Just keep in mind to have fun, he advised, since if you’re having fun, then so will we. “I had to remind myself of that all the time. I kept telling myself that this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience even when I felt so out of my element, which was virtually daily,” said Ryan.
“And it extended much beyond this film into other facets of my life,” the actor continued. So, that suggestion was generally sound. When Hugh and Ryan recently revealed that he would be “returning to his role of Wolverine” in the upcoming film Deadpool, the news made headlines.
