The song “Ciao Papa” will appear in Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, and Netflix has now released the official video. The song “Ciao Papa” (or perhaps it would be better to say “Ciao Papa” beyond the original typo) will be featured in Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming film Pinocchio, which will be available on Netflix on December 9.

Sing “Ciao Papa” from GUILLERMO DEL TORO’s PINOCCHIO with me. GUILLERMO DEL TORO’S PINOCCHIO, from Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and award-winning stop-motion legend Mark Gustafson, is a story you think you know… but you don’t.

The wonderful classic by Carlo Collodi, which is about a wooden puppet that miraculously comes to life to cheer up a grieving carver named Geppetto, is reimagined by Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro. Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson’s charming stop-motion picture recounts the wild and rambunctious adventures of Pinocchio as he looks for his place in the world.

Ewan McGregor plays Jiminy Cricket, David Bradley plays Geppetto, and newcomer Gregory Mann provides the voice of Pinocchio in the movie, which was directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson. Finn Wolfhard, Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz, and Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton are all featured in the original-language voice cast.
