Harrison Ford’s dashing archaeologist will return in Indiana Jones 5 after making his final appearance in 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. A fan asked when the next “promotional piece” for the movie will be put on Twitter, and director James Mangold responded that something for Indiana Jones 5 will be disclosed in less than a month. Mangold’s refutation of rumours of an Indiana Jones 5 test screening took place just a few days ago. Despite his most recent comment not necessarily confirming it, it is reasonable to assume that the piece of promotional content will be a trailer given the film’s release date and that it is currently in the post-production stage.

Since no official summary of the upcoming movie Indiana Jones 5 has been released, the plot is currently unknown. However, set photos have provided some hints as to what might be in store for Ford’s fabled hero. Some set photos of Ford with motion tracking dots on his face suggest that he may appear to be ageing in the film. It would make sense if the upcoming film de-aged Ford for a few flashback scenes since he will undoubtedly be playing Indiana Jones at a significantly older age this time around.
