Netflix has released an incredible teaser trailer for an animated series called My Dad The Bounty Hunter, which appears to be much better than the title implies. Everett Downing Jr., who won an Oscar for co-directing the short film Hair Love a few years ago, is back with his latest project. My Dad the Bounty Hunter is a warp-speed adventure through the constellation of ups, downs, and moments in between that shape family life, created by Everett Downing and Patrick Harpin.
The hyperdrive exploits of two children who learn that their seemingly normal dad is actually an extraterrestrial bounty hunter! This family time is extreme, with lots of laser battles and dodging dangerous aliens. Laz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Priah Ferguson, Yvette Nicole Brown, JeCobi Swain, Leslie Uggams, Rob Riggle, Jim Rash, and Jamie Chung all contributed to the voice cast. This is fantastic! All the space-related adventures they will go on. There is an entire universe out there, which makes it much more epic than anticipated. And it appears sincere and good-hearted.
