Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita, welcomed their second child Sullivan Louis Ferguson Mikita. On Tuesday, November 15, Jesse posted images of their daughter wearing a gorgeous white onesie to his Instagram account to make a sweet joint announcement.

The couple wrote, “Sad to be away from my @takemeoutbway fam tonight but we ran off to welcome our newest little one, Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita. A special thanks to @drshahinghadir for helping us grow our family & our incredible surrogate and all of the nurses and doctors. We are overjoyed to be a family of four.” Jesse ended the message by praising Take Me Out, the Tony Award-winning live Broadway production in which he has been starring.

To congratulate the couple on their adorable new baby, fans flocked to the comments area. Big brother Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, who joined the famous family on July 7, 2020, is now joined by infant Sullivan. Despite the current state of love, Jesse once made some amusing revelations about the challenges of parenting a newborn child.

Since 2010, Ferguson and Mikita have been dating. They dated for two years before getting engaged in 2012. The next year, they got married. In 2020, Beckett, their first child, was born. After Beckett was born, Ferguson stated in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that he was awaiting his partner’s approval before starting a family. He stated, “I’ve been wanting to become a dad for a long time, and I was sort of waiting for Justin’s timeline. He’s 10 years younger than me so I was like, ‘You let me know when you’re ready, but, like, I’m ready yesterday.'”
