Seasons 1 and 2 both debuted in April 2020 and 2021, respectively. Filming for the second season began in August 2020 and was completed in April 2021. Filming for Season 3 began in February 2022; as a result, the production will end in September 2022. Season 3 could not be accessible until 2023 as a result. In fact, according to Netflix, the third season of Outer Banks will air in 2023. Though it is closer than we had thought, 2023 is still two months away.
