Rodney Alcala was a notorious American serial killer who operated between 1968 and 1979. After a two-year killing spree in which five people died, he was caught by the police in July 1979. The precise number of victims in the Alcala massacre is still unknown. Although he has been definitively connected to eight homicides, the actual number of victims of homicide and sexual assaults may be as high as 130. More than a thousand sexually explicit images of victims were in Alcala’s possession; some of these images helped solve unsolved cases of missing persons. Alcala’s appearance on the programme in 1978, in the midst of his murderous rampage, earned him the moniker “The Dating Game Killer,” which has since become more widely known. Alcala had been given the death penalty, but at the age of 77, he passed away in Corcoran, California, from “unspecified natural causes.”
When will The Dating Game be available on Netflix?
We have confirmed from several sources that The Dating Game began filming on October 31, 2022. When it is planned to end on March 12th, 2023, production will have taken about four months. Canada’s Vancouver, British Columbia, is the location of the filming.
