A disappointing release update for Ezra Miller’s The Flash

Fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see a trailer for Ezra Miller’s upcoming film The Flash. The project’s initial video was screened at DC FanDome last year, and it was well received by all. The response wasn’t too shocking considering how long people had been yearning for a solo Flash movie. Warner Bros. now has a winner if one can overlook the Ezra Miller-sized elephant (and their numerous criminal claims) in the room. Michael Keaton will be returning as Batman, too.

Since those initial trailers for the film were released in 2021, eager viewers have been waiting more than a year to see more. Although the movie’s producer, Barbara Muschietti, hinted about a new trailer in June of last year, nothing materialized.

When Can Fans Expect the Upcoming Flash Trailer?

The next The Flash movie from Warner Bros. won’t hit theatres until 2023, according to a tweet from One Take News. This assertion was supported by Umberto Gonzalez of The Wrap, who claimed that the information was “true” and hinted that “he knows what movie it will be in front of.” Which movie, though, might that be?

However, the beginning of 2023 presents three distinct options: Magic Mike’s Last Dance on February 10, Creed 3 on March 3, and Shazam! March 17 will see Fury of the Gods. The second appearance of Billy Batson by Zachary Levi would certainly be the most plausible of the three. A movie typically waits around that long before releasing its first significant trailer. To minimize the time between promotion and the project’s premiere, Warner Bros. will probably also try to release the teaser as close to The Flash’s debut as possible.

What can viewers anticipate from The Flash trailer?

Ezra Miller’s recent behavior has been regrettable. The latest scandals surrounding the actor will surely have an impact on what could have been one of the biggest DC Universe films to date. Then there’s all the commotion surrounding Batgirl, which makes Michael Keaton’s participation in The Flash and the larger film industry controversial.

When a trailer does appear, it will probably focus heavily on the movie’s supporting cast. Of course, audiences are most excited about Michael Keaton’s portrayal of Batman. The foundation of the entire marketing strategy may be that nostalgic appeal. Then again, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl might possibly receive a lot more attention in upcoming promos and advertisements.

But ultimately, it’s still a Flash movie, so the main character won’t be completely absent.
