On October 28, 2022, a brand-new true crime series called I Am a Stalker will debut on Netflix. produced by Transistor Films, a company run by Ned Parker and Danny Tipping. The miniseries, which is a collaboration between Netflix and the UK’s Crime + Investigation, has in-depth interviews with eight criminals.
Typically of the eight episodes, which each have a runtime of around 45 minutes, takes viewers inside the heads of some of America’s most prominent stalkers. The album already had its world debut on October 18 in the UK, and it is now streaming in all countries.
In the United States alone, some 1.4 million people are stalked annually. From the irksome (constantly receiving a tonne of emails or letters) to the invasive (being surreptitiously watched or followed) to the most serious (kidnapping and/or murder), stalking can have a variety of negative effects. The next spine-inducing series, from the creators of I AM A KILLER, highlights the most prominent stalkers presently imprisoned as they describe in their own horrifying words how love developed into a fatal obsession.
A different stalking incident and the methods the perpetrators terrorised their victims
Pattern of Behavior, One Last Chance, A Family Stalked, Close to Death, Imminent Fear, Extreme Best Friends, Red Flags, and Obsessive Tendencies are the titles of the episodes. Every episode features inmates who introduce themselves, discuss their upbringing, and discuss the circumstances behind the offence for which they were sentenced to prison time.
Daniel Thompson, John Anderson, Ruben Jaramillo, Terry Morrison, Jaclyn Feagin, James Corpus, David Mcgee, and Deketrice Jackson are among the prisoners who appear in the documentary series. Some of them are serving life sentences, while others are on parole, and yet more are awaiting their release.
The first episode of the series includes certain facts, such as the 3 million stalking episodes that are recorded in the US alone, only 7% of which result in arrests, and the fact that most stalker incidents go undetected. They also offer us a brief description of stalking because it will become clear in later episodes that many of these offenders are unaware of what constitutes stalking or are unaware of what falls under it.
It involves initiating unwelcome contact with a person over an extended length of time while constantly chasing, stalking, or threatening them. The majority of offenders share similar life experiences, such as coming from a dysfunctional household or feeling excluded as a young child and never having any friends.
They then mature and discover an attractive person,With the exception of two women, almost everyone was a man. Jaclyn needed a better guardian, and Deketrice most definitely needed professional help rather than turning to god. It was also interesting to observe that while the women felons were somewhat sophisticated and sought to gain their objectives through deception, the men were highly violent, trashing, hurting, and even stabbing individuals.

This documentary series is fascinating to watch since it provides some insight into these people’s minds and the motivations behind their heinous actions. The perpetrators may have received a sentence for their actions, but the victims still appear scared and uneasy. The majority of them view stalking as a very minor offence, and as one of them stated, they would prefer to be classified as killers than stalkers.
The majority of victims of stalking continue to live in a condition of constant anxiety, making it clear that it is as serious as other horrifying crimes. The show also serves as a lesson to be learned.
