In less than a month, a new horror-sci-fi series called Hot Skull will be accessible on Netflix, and a teaser film has already been released. Do you enjoy reading tales of dreadful worldwide maladies and dystopian societies? Then you can start looking forward to a new Netflix series. There is a teaser available for the sci-fi television adaptation of the same-titled novel by Afşin Kum on the streamer. The series explores a world where a novel sickness with a novel mechanism of transmission has wiped out most of the population.

The roughly two-minute teaser begins with the reclusive former linguist Murat Siyavus (Osman Sonant) recalling his first encounter with a woman in a location he hardly recognises. Murat is one of a small number of individuals who have managed to endure a mental illness that has spread throughout society and is only spread through oral and written communication. The only person who is immune to the raging illness is Murat, who has stayed with his mother to withstand the storm. He has some issues during his visit to his mother since she asks him to “live a little.”

Murat and those who have not yet been impacted by the virus travel about the world and the bustling city of Istanbul wearing headphones that protect them from “jabberers,” or individuals who have contracted the illness. Soon enough, due to his apparent generosity, he risks his safety to save a young boy from one of these jabberers. Murat is drawn into a brand-new, high-stakes game that sets the linguist against the cruel Anti-Epidemic Institution, the group in charge of this dystopian society, thanks to his mother’s encouragement.

Even if the seas are still salty and birds may still fly through the skies, nothing is the same anymore. Murat had to leave the safe haven because of this. In a quest to unravel the secrets of his immunity, his “hot skull,” Murat embarks on a walk in the wilderness with Sule (Hazal Subas) and other individuals who have similar beliefs. Mert Baykal wrote the 2016 Kum book that served as the inspiration for the Hot Skull television series. The eight-part series’ cast also includes Sonant, Subaş, evket oruh, Tilbe Saran, Kubilay Tunçer, zgür Emre Yldrm, Gonca Vuslateri, Zerrin Sümer, Yetkin Dikinciler, and Hakan Gerçek. Erdem Akakçe, Barş Yldz, Arda Anarat, and Furkan Kalabalk are a few others.

The eight-episode series will premiere on the streaming service on December 2. Check out the official description of the streamer and watch the teaser below:
