Mismatched, on fire, feels like home: OTT places great value on youthful rendezvous

 Unrequited love, camaraderie, conflict, and a bit of drama combine to shape the lives of teenagers and young adults. But many will agree that this stage of life may be the best time, and it is this stage of life that plays a role in all sorts of his OTT projects. From Mismatched and Feels Like Ishq to Campus Diaries and The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar and set to star Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, creators explore the trials and tribulations of youth, fueled by heartwarming coming-of-age stories. And it gives audiences a much-needed break from all that dark and dramatic stuff, so the formula looks like it’s going to work. “We started talking about teens and young people in the 1990s, but there is a lack of stories that portray today’s teenagers in a relatable way. We’re filling that gap with digital media,” says Amol Parashar, who appeared in a segment of “Feels Like Ishuk” alongside actress Radhika Madan. He adds: Much of the inner world and complexity of young people is yet to be explored and expressed. ”

 Writer and director Tahira Kashyap Khurana believes young people have long been discredited in the world of entertainment. “Young people are a big part of the population and their stories have to be told. There is a lot of interest among young people right now. A great mind, a story, and a great interest in it.It’s fascinating,” she says.
